1.connection and consultation

Where are you going, who are you going with, what do you want to do when you get there? Our process depends on what you want to do.

For simple hotel bookings, you’ll need to fill out travelhappier’s client booking form so that we can make your reservation directly with travelhappier’s hotel partners.

To book a cruise, safari, private yacht, air, or design a more complex, day-by-day itinerary - let’s chat.

2. follow up and booking

After receiving your inquiry, Marissa will follow up with you via email.

If we are planning a trip together, I’ll want to know your personal preferences, travel style, and budget so that we can create the most memorable vacation that is tailored exactly to you.

If you already know what cruise you want to take or what hotel you want to stay in, the booking process will be simple and complimentary.

however,

Some trips require more extensive research before booking.

In these cases, we will ask for a credit card guarantee for a research fee. The amount of the research fee is a sliding scale based on complexity of trip and whether you are a previous client, but your card will only be charged if you do not move forward with a booking with travelhappier.

This payment guarantee ensures that we are compensated for any time spent researching on your behalf in the event that you choose to book through a third party.

 

3. we’ll confirm everything and VIP you

After we book your hotel, tour, or cruise accommodations at no cost to you, we’ll confer with our hotelier partners to confirm any upgrades, extra amenities or shipboard credits and “VIP” you— letting them know your preferences and requests in advance of your arrival.

4. enjoy!

Arrive to your destination knowing that I’ve already contacted the hotel to notify them of your arrival, confirm all details and requests, and ensure that you’re on their VIP list and receive the warmest of welcomes.

And if anything goes wrong during your stay and you need me, I’m your advocate and am here to help.
